I'm not sure how it found it's way to me, but I received a bulk job solicitation this morning that included this gem:
We're not looking for a typical 9-5, Mon. - Fri. rails developer who believes in entitlement. Instead, we're looking for a rails developer who can dedicate him / herself Full-time on this project for 2 - 3 months.
Reading between the lines: a 40-hour work week is an "entitlement", "Full-time" would then be... ? Slave labor? Good thing they put in that "himself/herself" part, or they might not, you know, seem politically correct or something.
I mean, I guess I should just be glad they put this kind of thing up-front in the ad.
Uh, good luck with that?
